Job Description:
>Invoicing-Generate and review invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
>Payment Processing-Post and process payments, verify payment validity, and manage accounts receivable.
>Insurance Claims-Submit claims to insurance companies, track claim status, and resolve denials or requests for more information.
>Client Communication-Answer billing inquiries, communicate with clients about account balances and payment options, and resolve disputes.
>Data Management-Update patient information, maintain accurate records, and ensure data integrity.
>Collections-Follow up on past-due accounts and work with clients to establish payment plans.
>Compliance-Adhere to billing and insurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
>Process Improvement-Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy, says C9 Staff.
Qualifications and Essential Skills:
>High school diploma or GED
> 2 years prior healthcare billing experience
>Attention to Detail: Accurate data entry and meticulous record-keeping are crucial.
>Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and insurance claim issues.
>Communication: Effective communication with clients, insurance providers, and internal teams is essential.
>Technical Skills: Proficiency in billing software, insurance portals, and related systems.
>Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
>Analytical Skills: Analyze billing trends, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions.
